QEDLER — Lineage and related records

Lineage

QEDLER (Quantum Events Driven Learner) descends from PEDLER (Point Event-Driven Learner), first published November 2001: a 6-tuple Turing-machine extension over balanced ternary logic, Indian Patent Application 3033/CHE/2011. Authoritative record: 10.5281/zenodo.17497559.

QEDLER is a new work under a new concept DOI, not a version of PEDLER. It shares the event-first ontology and applies it to physics. The relation is recorded as isDerivedFrom, deliberately, so that the two lineages stay separable — the estate already carries one unmergeable split-concept defect and this avoids creating another.

Related internal programmes without their own DOI at seed time are named in the description rather than linked, and are to be added by misty newversion once minted: PRATIK (kernel), ICAML-Omega (event-first ontology), Zistgah (habitat envelope).

Comparative positioning — required, not yet written

A rigorous comparison against the following is a required deliverable and is not in v0.1. Listing them here is a commitment, not a claim of having done it.

General Relativity · Quantum Mechanics · Quantum Field Theory · Standard Model · Regge Calculus · Causal Set Theory · Loop Quantum Gravity · Spin Networks · Spin Foams · Group Field Theory · Tensor Networks · Causal Dynamical Triangulations · Lattice Gauge Theory · Wolfram Physics Project.

For each, the comparison must state: what QEDLER borrows, what it does differently, what it cannot yet do that the other can, and which of its open problems that framework has already solved or already proved impossible. The last of these matters most and is the reason the comparison cannot be deferred indefinitely.
